Problems with Windows Mobile Application
Windows Mobile application for smartphones has not met with positive reviews. The buggy program has had issues since its inception. In fact, if you do your research, you will find more complaints than compliments about this system. So, is this the system for you? Consider some of the issues being reported by those who know.
1. There is nothing special about the application – the features of the program tend to be awkward and buggy. There are problems with the program as it is reported to be slow and not user friendly. The touch features are not optimized for touch screen use though the larger screen features are easier to read, especially for people with vision problems.
2. It does not support capacitive touch screens – the application is not compatible with full screen devices, which makes the screen fuzzy when being used with full screen devices.
3. You have to buy a new phone to get the system – rather than allowing for upgrade of your phone’s system, if you want to upgrade your old Windows Mobile application to the latest version, you will have to purchase an entirely brand new phone.
4. The browser is weak – the browser is not easy to control, it is difficult to surf the internet and navigation is complicated.
5. Freezing issues – uses have reported that their devices with Windows Mobile frequently freeze or run slow, often causing them to have to restart the device completely.
6. Short lifespan for batteries – Windows Mobile devices are among the worst for battery life. Their batteries tend to die quickly and without too much warning. If you buy one of these devices, make sure you have a charger in your car and on your person at all times because you are going to need it.
7. Sensitivity – these phones can react to changes in temperature by being super sensitive making the screens malfunction.
8. It’s the same old thing – with other operating systems and applications hitting the market on a daily basis, Microsoft has missed the mark. There is nothing innovative about Microsoft Mobile.
Ultimately, when you are purchasing a smartphone, you need to do your research. Test the phones out at the store and find out what will work best for you. Find out what those who own one of the phones have to say about the operating systems. You want to know about the good and the bad. Make sure you find out everything you need to know prior to making your purchase. Find out about the problems and find out about the successes and you will not be disappointed when you purchase your new smartphone.
