Mobile Software Update

I have a Blackberry Pearl from T-Mobile, anyone know where i can can get a software update!?

Other than T-Mobile, they have the same version i have but i found on some sites that their is a newer one but dont trust them!

I’ve tried to update the handheld software using a different carrier (Cingular), but for some reason the software doesn’t really work that well enough that it was worth keeping on my phone. So, I’m warning you now, it may do more harm than good to try to put software from different carriers.
