Windows Mobile Upgrade 6.5

is it true that Windows Mobile 6\.1 users cant upgrade to 6.5, 7?

i saw that on 1800pocketpc.com it says you will have to buy a new device, i only got mine in november.

help plz.

6.5 will be a upgrade of 6.1 so you will be able to upgrade. Just like X1 programmers have cooked it for use in the X1, you will need it to be programmed to use on your device.

7.0 will be a completely different base, and can’t be used on current device until it’s fully released and tested on older devices. Most likely not but some may be able to get a slow performance out of it.
