What Is Nokia Pc-Suite?

am using a NOKIA mobile phone and i do not know how to transfer the files and other data from computer to the mobile phone and Vice-Versa. I told one of my friend about this and he told me to install NOKIA PC-SUITE in my system. But i do not know about this software. From where i can download this software?

Nokia PC Suite is the software which is applied to connect Nokia phones and computers which run on Microsoft Windows operating system. This software is used to transfer the songs , images and application softwares which is supported by your cell phone. It is also used for sending SMS and it can be used as a modem to connect to the Internet throughcomputer. A mobile phone is connected by USB to the computer. The mobile phone can also be connected to the computer by using Bluetooth and infrared. This software supports all three kinds of connections. Provided that your computer system has Bluetooth and Infrared devices installed.

It is better to use Nokia PC-SUITE to transfer the data between cell phone and the computer systems. But Nokia is replacing the PC-SUITE software by OVI SUITE. The Nokia is giving this software with all the new mobile phones instead of PC-SUITE. However it is not compulsory to have any of this software installed in your system. Just connect your phone with the USB cable to the system. Select MASS STORAGE from the option in the cell phone when you connect the phone to the system.
